Essays, thoughts, musings and ok then, maybe a bit of foraging too

Over the last few years, I’ve been honing a long-form, essay style of writing. It a response to a growing weariness to the way we communicate with each other. I feel we have adopted a pervasive binary view of the world that has spilled from our devices and out into our minds. An approach that is really only interested in selling us products. Life, I’m starting to understand, isn’t about picking a side but asking why there are sides in the first place.

Still, I also like to drink and forage and you can expect there to be some of that here too.

My approach

I’m going to be working out what this site will mean to you and to me as I go along. Therefore feedback is always welcome. I may throw a few things out there and see what works.

Podcast, paywalls, and paid subscriptions

Of course, I have to fund my writing - but so far it is just the archive. Everything will be free when it is first written. Therefore, unlike with so many other things, the earlier adopters and the most loyal will be rewarded having had access to more free content than the late comers. That said, I occasionally will reward my most loyal readers.
