Daydreaming as a bedrock of happiness

A Gen Z friend of mine said to me the other day, “I feel sorry for your generation, you’ve had a lifetime of boredom as you queue or wait for things, we’ve always had phones”. I pondered this for a while, about two years in fact, and came to the conclusion that I quite like being bored, it gives me time to daydream.

My daydreaming style is maybe similar …
